This cast iron fire basket is for use within your fire surround. Place your fuel within the fire basket and light. The fire grate allows air to circulate around your fire allowing more air to be drawn in. 

The dog grate comes with an ash pan cover, ash pan is not included.

Cast iron will last for many many years if looked after properly. With cast iron we always recommend to have a few smaller fires before your normal larger ones to season the cast iron properly. 

The fire basket comes with a back with a sunrise motif on it.
